Volume 2 Issue 9

The boys start with a review of Limitless. They felt it only fair that they review a movie featuring Bradley Cooper, who is fresh off of an Oscar loss.

They then go into a little bit of a rant in regards to all of the remakes that are in the works from Hollywood. At what point will someone in Hollywood finally hear what they have to say?

The new Planet of the Apes movie has some casting news for you, and the boys are actually looking forward to this one.

Joss Whedon has been out and about with a new project, and both the guys really like where this is going.

And, of course, the show can’t just gloss over the Oscars. Brian and Jacob spend some time discussing this year’s winners and losers and what is wrong with the Academy in general.

We all know that NBC has been making some bad decisions for years when it comes to shows and what gets air time, but has it finally caught up with them?

And of course, GNH wouldn’t be complete without a little bit of Felicia Day news.

Volume 2 Issue 8

The boys start this week’s issue with a review of the new series Cult, created by Rockne S. O'Bannon, who is best known for Alien Nation and Farscape. Is it going to be just another version of The Following or is there something more here?

Jacob follows this up with some rather scathing commentary on the recent revelations about Kevin Smith’s career choices. Has he lost his mind?

The boys both take a look at yet another as Jacob puts it, ‘white-turned-black” remake and spend some time remembering all that have come before.

Marvel has announced some casting choices for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and you won’t want to miss what they have to say about that or how much Jacob isn’t looking forward to the new Wizard of Oz movie.

Speaking of movies, the boys take a minute to talk about the Star franchises, Star Wars and Star Trek, before moving into the TV news from the week.

The Gorram Nerd Hour wouldn’t be complete without some Felicia Day news before Jacob conducts and interview with an up and coming director in Andrew Weiner.

All this and more with the click of a button. It’s the Gorram Nerd Hour Volume 2 Issue 8 from Abnormal Entertainment.

Volume 2 Issue 7

The boys come at you LIVE from the Bloody Hero International Film Festival in bright and sunny Phoenix, AZ for this week’s issue.  It’s an extra long one so be prepared.

They start off with an old fashioned radio style skit entitled “Win a Gorram Date with Jacob O’Neal” Three lucky ladies (well, almost ladies) are on hand and all three give it their best shot to win that Gorram Date.  It’s hosted by Brian so you know, it’s gonna be a looooong day.

They follow it up with a rant from Brian about Mark Millar and then a special treat, Jacob gives you a new segment called “Red Light, Green Light”.  And they don’t mean the classic kid’s game.

The end of the show brings you interviews with some of the filmmakers whose films were selected to screen at this, the inaugural run of the Bloody Hero International Film Festival!

They hope you enjoy this week’s extra-long and extra late Gorram Nerd Hour!
