Volume 2 Issue 5

Welcome to the fifth issue of Volume 2! This week the boys have a special treat for you as well as a surprise guest.

They start with a pretty interesting read of Rob Liefeld’s new screenplay Icons, where the special guest joins them to discuss their reactions. They move on to the news front and Star Wars fans should either be really really excited or totally pissed off about the first bit of news. A couple other sequel grumblings hit the net, and of course The Gorram Nerd Hour wouldn’t be complete without some Superman news for Brian.

Give it a listen. If you don’t like it, the guys will give you your money back!

Volume 2 Issue 4

First, the boys start with a review of John Dies At The End before moving into Jacob’s Top Ten Worst Genre films of 2012. His list is impressive, but not as impressive as the way the boys slay those movies!

They cover the full gamut of rumors and news for all things geek and even rant a little about what the hell is wrong with multiple TV networks with the same name.

They finish off the hour with a little bit of news about Robot Vampire Productions and their upcoming movie and casting choices.

Give it a listen. It makes for good time-wasting and procrastinating.

Oh yeah, if you want to check out the video game they talk about, here’s the link:

Volume 2 Issue 3

The boys start with a review of Safety Not Guaranteed, and they didn’t loathe it! Jacob then give his Top 10 Genre Films Of 2012 list, and Brian has quite a bit to say about it.

The Hollywood rumor mill is at it again with a ton of stuff to cover, and both of the guys give you their opinions, not that we could stop them anyway.

Jodie Foster came out of the closet live on the Golden Globe awards. Her acceptance speech was weird and confusing. Find out why on this week’s issue of The Gorram Nerd Hour!

Volume 2 Issue 2

The boys begin the show with a review of V/H/S, a horror anthology that didn’t make Brian give up movies forever.

Recently, there were rumors that David Lynch went to NBC and pitched a third season of Twin Peaks. The boys both loved that show. It ended on a cliffhanger. Is it real, or is it just fantasy?

Frank Darabont may be writing the new Godzilla movie that is to be directed by the man who made Monsters, Gareth Davies.

And another one bites the dust. Once again, a big name director has taken his name out of the running to direct the new Star Wars movie coming in 2015.

Screenrant and Time Magazine put up the 10 Worst Movies of 2012, and, of course, the boys have something to say about that.

And this wouldn’t be The Gorram Nerd Hour if Brian didn’t get mad at someone. This time it may just be Jacob with a joke that Brian deems “too soon bro, too soon.”

Thanks to both of our loyal listeners, and with that, the boys say goodnight.

Volume 2 Issue 1

WELCOME TO VOLUME 2!!! It’s a miracle that we made it out of 2012 without a scratch! The boys are coming at you this week from Samurai Comics in Mesa, AZ.

They start with a review of Fetish Dolls Die Laughing from the mind of David Silvio. Both the guys had a hard time with this one, and only one of them officially gives his review. Can you guess who?

It was a light week on news, and the guys struggle to fill up their entire time, but a surprise guest at the end of the show gives them a hand and some really great news for Robot Vampire Productions, LLC to boot.

Enjoy the first show of the new season and the new year!
